THE PRACTICE
Butler
Thompson Associates was formed on 1st January 2002 with the merger of two
well established practices, namely Barry Butler of Windermere and Roger
Thompson of Kendal.
Barry
Butler has worked as a Chartered Surveyor for more than 27 years,
initially for the Valuation Office in Liverpool and East Lancashire prior
to establishing a practice in Windermere in 1987.
Roger Thompson, is also a Chartered Surveyor who has worked in the South Lakes area for over 30 years, formerly with Thompson Matthews and Halifax Property Services before setting up his own practice in Kendal in 1994.
We
provide a comprehensive coverage of South Cumbria and North Lancashire
whilst also working throughout the rest of Cumbria.
A
full professional and quality service is provided to all our clients
including residential and commercial valuations and surveys; rating,
rental and taxation valuations; reinstatement cost/insurance valuations
and auctioneering.
We are both qualified Chartered Surveyors and are accredited by SAVA (Surveyors and Valuers Accreditation).
Valuation and Survey Reports are carried out on behalf of the individual clients who may wish to have a more detailed survey or just a simple valuation report.
We also offer this same service on reports and surveys required by leading Banks, Building Societies and other lending institutions.
